"Why were benzodiazepines created? There is a reason why they created benzodiazepines, there is a reason why they created higher doses. Some people truly do suffer from very severe and paralyzing anxiety in a harsh world that demands so much to be done. They created the medicine to stop people from having to suffer so bad in their life. They created higher doses for the people who have it so severe that it takes higher doses for it to work. A person suffering from this condition shouldn’t be looked upon and treated as an addict. Some people truly do need this medication just to get through life without being in severe paralyzing pain every second of their lives. You can’t treat everybody the same because every situation is different. Nobody should be judged for needing this medication, it was made for a reason. It’s the only medication that actually takes the severe anxiety away and some people actually do need it. You can’t look and treat everybody as addicts just because they need “controlled” medications. Why were “controlled” medications made in the first place? They actually work. It was created to stop people from suffering so bad. I wonder how you would treat yourself when this condition happens to you, will you then have compassion and believe people? Because you wouldn’t do to yourself what you’re doing to other people who are truly suffering with a severe and paralyzing condition. It’s sad how the world is treating the people who need the medication like addicts to be judged and controlled, isn’t it to help the person stop suffering in the first place? Maybe addicts are not even addicts, maybe it’s the world that has created this term, medicine was made to help people, but how can it help if the people giving it are playing with your life by controlling you with a “controlled” substance while judging you for needing it or needing the dose higher? You don’t even take the time to get to know the patient, talk with them about their life and what they are going through, it’s just another patient to you that you don’t even care for or understand, don’t even try to, just judge them as an addict, it’s only when it’s someone you actually care for like your child or wife or mom that you actually care enough to listen and understand to prescribe them what they actually need. I should be feeling cared for and helped by my psychiatrist after our session, not left feeling completely heartbroken, judged, scared, misunderstood and uncared for. You’re supposed to be helping people not hurting them."

"Dr Molina is an awesome, caring professional with a great personal touch. He has helped me thru issues that plagued me for awhile. There is another star in this cast, and that is Emily. She is super organized, reminds me of appointments, always calls back when needed, and is prompt on getting prescriptions to the pharmacy. All of the people in there make up a very unique team."
