"This is something you don't see everyday on the Central Illinois prairie. The camels are owned by Bill Maloney and are kept on his farm on the North end of town along route 41. Both types of camel; the Bactrian or two-hump, and the Dromedary, or one-hump; are present on the farm. So if your driving in or out of Avon on route 41, they're sure to catch your eye."
