I have had the last 3 years I have had Medical Assocites smart plan and I haven’t had any problems with them so ever. I do have a separate drug coverage plan which is also a great mail order company I use."

"We switched to Medical associates because we wanted everything in ONE place. First, I must say the physicians and PA we met, and received care from were extraordinary! Their team of Nurses, and office personnel all friendly and caring. Lab staff and imaging staff were excellent, professional and personable. ↗️↗️↗️↗️↗️↗️↗️↗️↗️ ABOVE TOP NOTCH Rating! 5 all day! ↗️↗️↗️↗️↗️↗️↗️↗️↗️ We have excellent insurance. As with most ppl, we were responsible to pay our remaining balances after insurance paid. And sadly, no consideration would be given to us because we could not pay smaller remaining balances. I was immediately denied specialty care, which was desperately needed. This limitation was then extended to my primary care doctor AND now, they wanted cash for any visit. Their accounts/collections staff actually said “we are privately owned and do not have to see you” in response to my questions about denial of medical care over less than $500."

"This insurance company is absolutely horrible! They don’t cover many prescriptions & you have to go to their doctors only. This is the worst insurance company we have ever had. I do not recommend this company to anybody. There are so many that are much better than this outfit! The people on the phone aren’t friendly or care to help you either. They do not care to help you no matter what is wrong with you. The people that are deciding whether they will cover you or not, are AWFUL as well! The money you end up paying them to cover you isn’t worth it. Bottom line: terrible company!"
