He received his medical education from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and completed his internship and residency at Northwestern University, McGaw Medical Center. Dr. Lyon furthered his training with a fellowship in Adult Reconstructive and Joint Replacement Surgery at Rush University Hospital.
With over 20 years of experience in orthopaedics, Dr. Lyon has worked at esteemed institutions such as Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan and Advocate Lutheran General in Park Ridge, Illinois. "I had full knee replacement in 2015 that was horribly done then had no choice but to let him work on me 2 more times . My condition was way worse off . I had to find a special surgeon to fix his bad mistakes . I never got help from dr Lyons again as I was left to find another dr to help me . It’s now 2023 and I still struggle from his mess he made in my body . This is nothing compared to the details involved my life changed forever and not for the better I’m now disabled have t worked since . Not even I’m sorry for my mess nothing left me in pain bad ."

"Dr. Lyon has given me two new hips between January and May of this year. I did the surgeries on an out patient basis and was home approximately 8 hours after each procedure. In both cases I was on only a cane and driving in less than 3 weeks and had a minimum amount of pain each time. I would recommend Dr. Lyon and if I should need any further work done he is the only surgeon that I would trust enough to do any further surgeries."
