Her lack of engagement and silence during the phone call made me feel like my situation wasn't worth her time. It's disheartening when a professional dismisses your concerns, especially when dealing with financial matters. I expected better service, and unfortunately, my experience with Evelyn left me feeling undervalued as a potential client. It's concerning to hear that even her husband acknowledged potential difficulties with scheduling a Friday phone call. This adds to the overall impression of a lack of commitment and availability."

"Ms. Edwards handled my small business payroll. Unfortunately, she terminated services for being “disorganized.” Despite me having to be the one constantly resending tax documents because of her numerous email changes. Whatever her reasons, she decides who she wants to work with and as a small business owner myself, I respected her decision and found services elsewhere. However, it is over 3 years later and I am still on her email lists after contacting her on several occasions (to every email and telephone number available to me) to please remove me from her call lists. She called me personally and said I was removed and that I would not hear from her again. I appreciated that, but yet, here we are with another request for a review of a business I’d rather forget. You’d think after terminating services with me, they wouldn’t want a review from me. So, I’m posting one in hopes that I’ll be done and they will no longer request a review as I have finally made one. Thank you and best wishes."

"Upon speaking to Evelyn over the phone she was interested in information that didn’t seem relevant to our conversation. Upon meeting with Evelyn for the first time she was unwelcoming and rude. She asked what I was was looking to do even though I’d already told her over the phone I’d like help with my 2023 filing for my business and personal taxes twice. When I got to her office she acted like she didn’t know it was for business even though I’d already discussed what type of business we had with her and her secretary. She started by asking what type of return I’d submitted in the past and I was unsure of what it was called, but willing to provide it for her to review. She replied with a snarky comment about how I SHOULD know what it is that I have submitted and what I’ve actually signed. I am not a tax specialist and that is why I am attempting to request the help of a cpa. Because they are the tax specialists…. If I knew what I was doing I would do it MYSELF. I felt so uncomfortable at this point that I decided to leave. I wouldn’t recommend working with Evelyn, unless you have a great understanding of everything tax related. Or if you’re just feeling lazy and are just willing to hand her everything almost completed for her to easily submit and collect your money…she isn’t helpful"
