"I would avoid this business that is operating from Thumbtack. He is very unprofessional. He is angry, threatening and accusatory over e-mail. For mostly nonsense. He made errors on reasonably simple returns. IRS noticed, and he was rude while making the revisions to the return. Luckily, there is recourse via federal and state complaint forms. There are so many great, easy to work with CPAs and tax advisers and many charge less than he does. He was so shockingly unprofessional, to the point that we were concerned with him having our personal information, and consulted a lawyer about the situation. I have chosen a more educated and lower rate CPA who has thoughtfully filed our return. I will be staying with her but remain nervous about this guy even knowing my name and address. Followup on May 25, 2020: This is a followup to the above review I posted in March 2020. Apparently this licensed CPA, Dylan Tran and Greenway Tax Advisors, releases people's private tax information on public forums. I am not even the person whose name he has displayed on the response. This shows how many unhappy clients he must actually have."
