"I have been a loyal customer of Block Advisory since the early 2000s, entrusting them with my taxes for over two decades. However, my recent experience with my 2023 tax preparation left me deeply unsatisfied and compelled to share my thoughts. This year, to my disappointment, the advisor assigned to me did not meet the high standards I had come to expect from Block Advisory. The lack of clear communication was particularly frustrating. Despite my efforts to understand, the advisor failed to explain the reasons behind my owing money to the IRS, nor did they offer any advice on how to potentially avoid such situations in the future. This lack of guidance and care for my financial well-being was disheartening. Moreover, it seemed the focus was more on completing and filing the paperwork as quickly as possible rather than ensuring my satisfaction and understanding of the process. This approach felt impersonal and disregarded the customer service excellence that once defined my experiences with Block Advisory. Over the last few years, I have observed a gradual decline in the quality of service provided by Block Advisory. It is with regret that I note this deterioration, as the company has been my go-to for tax services for many years. I hope my feedback serves as a constructive reminder of the importance of client care, clear communication, and personalized service. It is crucial for Block Advisory to address these issues to regain and maintain the trust of its long-standing clients."

"I scheduled my appointment through their online system for a Thursday at 6pm. The system automatically scheduled me with Debra Meyers for that time, I did not select her. I received a VM to confirm my appointment, so I called in and confirmed my appointment with Rosie (I believe that was her name) for the date and time scheduled with Debra Meyers, all good. About 30 minutes later, I got a phone call from Rosie stating that Debra only works 9 to 5 and isn't available at 6pm and that no one is available for that Thursday at 6 pm, so I need to reschedule. Why should I, the client, have to reschedule and rearrange my schedule when I did everything as I was supposed to do. You all can't even get your scheduling/appointments correct, and I am supposed to trust you to do my taxes?! No thank you. The whole thing is unprofessional and update your online system to not give available time slots for a particular tax preparer after 5pm if the tax preparer doesn't work after 5pm!"
