"I'm editing my previously posted review. I used iTax last year and had a great experience. I thought the same this year until recently. You'll receive a phone call to schedule an appointment and when the time comes, you don't receive a call. Ambrea texted me if I was available to chat, which I promptly replied yes and didn't get the call until at least an hour later. I just blew this off because I had a great experience last year. I was told the fees for completing my tax return was $750 but altogether it was more like $980. After my return gets sent in, I don't hear back from State so I call to get an update. My tax return had a delay in being processed because the amount of withholding did not match what was present on our W2s. This resulted in our refund getting decreased ~$1400. I told State that before they processed my return that I wanted to speak with her first about this. I called Support, spoke to Julie, and explained the situation. Again, I get a text from Ambrea asking if I'm available to talk. I immediately reply Yes and never get a call. I even texted her again asking if she can let me know when she was going to call because I was working and had a meeting scheduled soon. No reply. I get an email saying she discovered the error, no explanation as to how the error was made and no apology. I get another email from Julie with the updated return- that's it. I called Support and spoke with Julie again clarifying if there is anything I need to do on my end. I also told her it's very unprofessional to reach out to speak and never call- what's the point? I also referred my mother to her and while she did the return for free, it took her 1 week to transmit my mom's tax return and she also did not call her during her scheduled appointment time. Julie apologized for the inconvenience. I later get an email on March 21st saying they were thanking me for referring my mom and that I would receive a $50 gift card and to reply with my two top choices. I replied the next day on March 22nd and here we are on April 5th. I sent an email again today asking if I was going to receive it but at this point, I don't even want it. I'm so disappointed with the service I received."
