"This review is solely regarding the Referall Program for the building. My experience living in the building has been pretty good for the last 2 years. However I referred a tenant last September and still have not received the Referall Bonus I’ve been promised time after time. I’ve spoken with multiple members of management who have all assured me the bonus would be coming in the next mail run; and now we’re 6 months in and still nothing. Every time I speak with them it’s a different story about how management is trying to figure it out. I’ve even reached out the Regional Property Manager, Allison Mixa, multiple times via email and have been ignored. It’s not even worth the hassle of referring someone if you have to follow up every 2 weeks for the entire length of your lease. Regards, Max Schroeder"

"Edit: No, this is not a fake review of me trying to “sell” the Westlyn lol. I’ve genuinely had a very positive experience living here since August of 2022. I've lived at Westlyn for over a year and a half, and I'm looking forward to renewing my lease. Big thanks to Penny and Maria for helping me switch apartments due to personal challenges without any extra fees. I've lived in both a studio and a one-bedroom, and both provide a consistently high-quality and upscale experience. The amenities, like the gym and beautiful pool, give the place a resort-like feel, especially in the summertime. While there were initial water issues when I moved in, they seem to have been resolved, and I haven't noticed any problems in months. Despite a few negative reviews, my overall experience here has been more than great."

"The Westlyn appeared promising initially, but my experience as a resident has been disappointing. The leasing staff and management turnover is noticeable, and their slow response time is frustrating. Multiple attempts to contact them went unanswered. A pervasive issue, as evident in previous reviews, is the foul-smelling water. Despite mine and their attempts to address it, the problem persists. Initially the management company told me to contact the city or Warrenville, which went nowhere. Additionally, the persistent noise from loud neighbors, barking dogs, and frequent fire alarms going off in the middle of the night. The promised 'luxury' of the trash system falls short, with unsightly garbage often lingering in hallways or at the trash stations. Broken and unclean gym equipment, lack of maintenance at times, and a dirty, trash-filled parking garage contribute to an overall unpleasant living environment. This experience is far from the standard expected for the rent charged. Please consider this review a warning to any potential tenants to save them from a similar headache."

"Maria has been very helpful and understanding in setting up my apartment. The apartments are ultra-modern with granite counters. The bathrooms are stunning and full of high tech features. I truly cannot complain. Everything they said they would do has been done. I'm currently relaxing in front of my fireplace."
