Richardson Place Apartments

"Husband and I are retired. Sold our home and searched for the perfect place to rent. This place is perfect. Quiet, very well maintained and friendly helpful staff. We have been here several years now and plan to stay. Whenever there is a maintenance problem we just call and they are very responsive. Just in past couple of years management has replaced the siding and windows resulting in reduced heating and cooling costs for us. They are constantly keeping everything as nice as possible."

"Overall, the apartments are in decent shape. If we ever had an issue, maintenance was there the same day or day after. The location right off the highway was awesome, too. We wouldn’t live in the apartments again if we got do it over, though. The reason for the low review is management consistently sent out passive-aggressive emails about quiet hours, pool rules, etc. instead of addressing specific complaints with the renters concerned. My favorite was when the “pool monitor” Lynn let her grandchildren dive repeatedly into the 5 foot pool but kicked out two other girls (behaving fine) for being under the pool rules age, all while chain smoking cigarettes. Speaking of (which is 100% on me for not realizing), you can smoke in the apartments, so our unit smelled like smoke the first few months we were there, just forewarning if that bothers you. The cherry on top was when we closed on a home and notified Richardson Place. We asked if after two years living there and always paying rent on time we could leave the unit early and avoid paying the last month or two of rent on top of the mortgage. I let them know I understood either way, they have a business to run and I wanted to give them the chance to rent out the unit early. Instead, they threatened a $1,400 lease break fee and another thousand dollar fee for abandoning the unit. We left the place empty the last two months and paid rent. Good riddance, and consider living elsewhere."

"I enjoy the property. It's quiet here and everyone seems to be pleasant. When I need to speak to the property manager, they get back to me right away and work with me on what needs to be done. I can't think of a better place to live."

"We moved in over a year and a half ago and absolutely love this place. Everyone in the office is amazing. If there are issues with something or someone they address the problems right away. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a quiet place to call home"

"We have lived at Richardson Place for over two years now, and we love it. The grounds are well kept. The apartments are well maintained. The office staff is professional, friendly, and diligent. The maintenance staff is prompt, polite, and capable. All of our concerns have been handled promptly and professionally. The staff makes a great attempt at keeping a great community feeling in the complex by hosting great parties and sending out flyers and updates. We're so glad we ended up living here! It's a wonderful place to call home. To address some of the negative reviews that were posted, I couldn't disagree more strongly. Stephanie is an excellent property manager. She always answers phone calls and messages, and resolves issues quickly. We did have a small problem with bugs in the apartment, but pest control was called, and the issue was handled immediately. Unfortunately, bugs can be a downside of apartment living, but the staff responded appropriately to the issue. The maintenance staff has come to handle all of our maintenance requests within a day or two. They have to handle calls in order of priority, so people must remember to have a little patience."
