"My daughter recently moved into an apartment here at Shiloh Commons. Brett has been extremely helpful, welcoming, and polite. We truly appreciated this as well as his kind smile. I am sure he will help make her stay here a positive one. The apartment itself has a spacious walk in closet, walk in pantry, and a decently large living room. We both hoped; however, that there were more outlets in the kitchen as well as more kitchen counter space by all in all, for one person, it is well suited."

"I cannot in good conscience recommend this property to anyone. I was told the fully-renovated apartment we applied for, and were subsequently approved for, was no longer available. Our contact stated, 'the previous tenant decided not to vacate at the last minute, which is annoying. We do have another two-bedroom available. It is renovated, but not fully. There is no accent wall, and the floors are carpet. Is this okay?' I responded yes, the carpet is fine. We can live with carpet for a year or two without a problem. When we arrived to pick up the keys, however, we were fairly unhappy with the state of the unit. The property simply is not as described as the unit does not appear to have been renovated. Additionally, the apartment was not appropriately cleaned prior to our arrival. 1. Kitchen / Dining / Laundry: Laminate flooring appears to be dated, and is peeling from the corner of the kitchen. Cabinets have been cleaned and painted on the outside. The cabinets have not been cleaned, repaired, and painted on the inside. The oven and oven hood were filthy. The countertops and floors were sticky. 2. Bathroom: We found bugs in the bathtub, fly excrement on the walls / door / shower, a thick layer of fur and dust along the baseboards, and the floor was sticky. The shower had not been cleaned thoroughly. There was and still is a faint urine odor coming from underneath the bathroom sink. The vanity along the bottom is need of repair. There is little to no furnishings for storage such as towel racks, hand towel racks, or shelving. The bathroom fan is inadequate as it barely runs. 3. Living Room and Bedrooms: Upon first inspection the living room / bedrooms appeared to be clean and in good repair. However, there was a smell, and the carpet felt as if there were a film on it. After multiple rounds with our Bissel Pet Vacuum we discovered why: The same thick, black fur found on the baseboards were embedded in the carpet. 4. General Notes: There are no ceiling fans in the unit, which is disappointing. I was under the impression there would be assigned, uncovered parking. I was unhappy to discover this is not the case, however, it is entirely possible I misunderstood this. Although I knew there would be a shared porch space I had no idea that space would be so limited. The existing square footage of the porch has already been claimed by the other tenants on our level. There is no carbon monoxide detector in the apartment. I expected / assumed a 'renovated' apartment to have a fridge with filtered water and an icemaker. This unit does not, and I feel it is my fault for not asking ahead of time. If for some reason you do lease from these properties, then you may want to plan to spend the first day simply deep-cleaning your unit. 5. Pricing: We all know property and facility maintenance costs are inflated at the moment. However, I'm also knowledgeable enough to know the owners of these properties likely do not pay much out-of-pocket for the facility itself, and the property taxes have risen no where near enough to justify the monthly price of $1,075 / month to receive a unit in such a state. Final Thoughts: My husband and I have already moved-in and signed the lease. It's a done deal. We are making the best of the unit as we can. I can guarantee you that unless some serious changes are made, we won't be extending our lease next fall. I urge you to spend the little bit of extra money and look elsewhere! Edit: Removed statement regarding smoke detectors / fire alarm. My husband located the smoke detectors."

"Quality service. It took only two days to get an apartment after filling out all the necessary paperwork and forms. All the while we were treated so well, I love it here!"

"Couldn't have asked much more of this place. This was our first apartment and Brett and Princess really tried to make our year here perfect. When the unit we initially wanted was taken by someone else, instead of trying to upsell us on a more expensive apartment, they found us a cheaper one. Maintenance is always fast to respond and they do good work. When a fuse blew in our apartment, we were given a $100 gift card to help replace the groceries we lost, an electrician was sent out as soon as they could, and Brett and Princess specially requested to have to new part to fix the fusebox expedited to have our unit back to usual asap. Absolutely great apartment for the price. Only wish would be some kind of security cameras. All in all, perfect place for new renters!"
