"I was experiencing shortness of breath for some time. I saw Dr Al-Massalkhi. I was diagnosed with COPD. He is very kind, takes his time with you & responds to my concerns when I call. I feel confident that I am receiving the best care., very happy with the practice."

"Was promised within to get my test results within 2 weeks. Then was mentioned later that it was 3 weeks to a month. It is now well over a month without results and am highly disappointed that test results were not given to me in a timely manner..**Update** Hospital mentioned results were ready since the 16th of July.."

"I had my first visit there ( New Lenox) referred by my primary doctor. My wife accompanied me. We found the staff very nice and responsive and clear. Dr. Nischal Raya was great and took the time to go over my hospital reports and question me about what I was experiencing and listen to my story and laid out a clear plan for me. I'm very glad I found him. I'm feeling much better since seeing him."

"I called to see about my CPAP supplies as when I was getting my CPAP machine, I was waiting a couple of months and apparently they had to send over to the CPAP supplies company my prescription again and to top it off after I got my CPAP machine, no supplies, again another prescription had to be sent again for supplies, I was waiting about another 2 months for that, then when I asked them that time when is this to be renewed, I was told last month, so I figured I would call to see about the prescription to be renewed and I was told I need an appointment that is 6 weeks out, so if I had not called, would I have gotten a call from the office to say, hey we need to see you before another prescription can be filled. If I cannot get another company between here and then and I have to go to this appointment, it will be a frosty one for them."

"I did not have a good experience with this practice. I came in with a respiratory issue that I'm still trying to diagnose and resolve. Over two months, I had multiple interactions with their physicians, nurses, and office administrators that were extremely poor. Below is the summary: - I received a diagnosis that my Northwestern Medicine PCP said didn't make any sense. - I had a follow-up CT and was asked to bring the images to the office by the nurse practitioner. When I tried to drop the CD off at the office, the front desk staff told me that they can't accept the CD because "they might lose it". - When I dropped off the radiology reports to their office, I didn't receive a follow-up from my pulmonologist for a week. - The results of my sleep apnea test were ready 2 days after the test was completed, but it took me 30 days and 5 phone calls to receive the results. - My pulmonologist was out of office for several weeks and didn't have any redundancy with the other partners in their practice. - One day their office phone systems were down. My call was automatically forwarded to their answering service, but I never received a response from the main office. I called back 3 times and waited 7 days to hear from them.. - This practice ultimately acknowledged that my issue was too complex and referred me to a larger and more capable health system like University of Chicago or Northwestern. This practice seems much better suited for managing known issues than for diagnosing new, complex issues. I was extremely disappointed in their limited sophistication and complete lack of attention to detail. They weren't proactive in working my diagnosis, dropped the ball at multiple points in my journey, and ultimately steered me to a more sophisticated care center. While I appreciate the ultimate honesty about their limitations, I also lost time in trying to diagnose and resolve my issue."
