"Do not use this place or bring your loved one here. They are uber slow, do not communicate, and lie about the time it takes for a simple procedure. I had to stop myself from acting out when my mom came in for what should have been a 15-minute procedure. That turns in hours... Crazy because when we pulled up to this place, my mom didn't like the way this place looked. We almost left. Never again..."

"The most shady day surgery center around. They will do everything in their power to make you pay the most out of your pocket regardless of your insurance provider. Then when you call them directly they will dodge your phone calls. Not to mention when speaking with my own insurance company, they were more than willing to accept the bills for coverage. Ashton day surgery center refused to send them the bill."

"I loved the nurses! All, but one who made me get dressed on my own right after surgery. It felt like I could barely keep my eyes open and I was rushed out. Billing was a little strange, I was sent an anesthesiologist bill when my surgeon said the amount of money I paid him would cover this fee? I’m not sure if there was a communication issue or how that was supposed to work."

"***Update*** I again received a call from Stephanie in the billing department 2 days after I received an invoice to check if I received it and when I was going to make payment. She again sounded angry and very rude. It's almost as she expects people not to pay their bills so it's like I'm 6 months late or something. Oh, and my total invoice is $60....I've paid every invoice I've had with this facility and they still treat people as though you're going to run out and not pay. Get some customer focused people in your billing department or don't call people until bills are actually past due. Calling someone and being extremely rude when a bill isn't more than a couple days old is irritating and will make me find a new facility. I was hoping after the last response a couple months back for a better experience. Extremely disappointed. ***** The center and staff were fantastic! If the billing department cared half as much about the patients as the physicians, this place would be 5 stars easy. Stephanie from the billing department called me to “verify” that I was receiving my bills as I hadn’t paid my balance. I told her I had just received a bill a few days prior and would pay when I returned home as I was traveling for work. I proceeded to call for payment on 3 separate occasions and left voicemails as noone answered. When I did finally get through, again with Stephanie, I asked why my voicemails were not returned so I could make payment. The excuse was that mt voicemails were on a community voicemail system so she never received them. I paid my bill in full during the call. Recommendation - join the 21st century 1. Add account receivable employees who work outside of the hours that everyone works. People can’t be expected to take time off work to call and pay a bill. 2. Online payments. This is the first medical facility that I’ve done business with that doesn’t take online payment in the past 10 years. 3. Train or remove Stephanie. If you don’t like your job or can’t be pleasant, you’ll continue getting poor reviews based on the payment process which unfortunately has nothing to do with the medical services offered."

"I had a surgery back in June 2014. I never received a bill so I figured I had met my out of pocket max. Fast forward to December 2017 to another scheduled surgery. One business day before the surgery they tell me I have a balance of 2100 dollars from June of 2014. I had NEVER received a bill. I had them forward me the statement and they had the WRONG address listed. When I informed them of this they did not want to take any blame. They refused to give a discount until I started crying. Without paying the 2100 dollars they would not allow me to have surgery the next business day on something that was THEIR fault. I told him all I could afford was 1300. I spoke with the supervisor, John Anthony, and he was completely rude and confrontational. He said "Well I guess we will send it to collections then" Apparently the other 7000 my insurance paid was not enough. I will NEVER deal with this facility again."
