"Won’t lie- after reading the reviews, I was very nervous taking my 5 year old to be seen- receptionist was decent enough, not the friendliest (no smile or how can we help you etc) but they got us into the system/ checked in quickly w no issues so that was wonderful! And the dr we saw (dr Shatat) was so sweet/helpful! We were in & out and my son is on the mend."

"This place has gone so downhill in the last few months with most of their nurses and doctors. My family and I became patients from the very start and were so happy with the treatment we received from everyone. Was there yesterday morning and again I regret going to them."

"I am utterly disgusted. After being a patient for over 30 years this immediate cares patient care or lack thereof was totally unacceptable. Upon bringing in a patient in after calling and verifying walk ins welcomed, we were turned away! Please keep in mind we arrived 16 minutes agter the call. The receptionist that I spoke with rolled her eyes when we were told by the younger receptionist we would bot be seen, that is ridiculous. The patient that was brought in was an asthmatic. We informed them of the reason for the visit. The younger receptionist went to get a nurse that confirmed shortness of breath and chest tightness from triage. The nurse advised us that they were going to speak with the provider. 15 minutes later the younger receptionist came back again and told us we could not be seen! This was a total waste of time! From the most recent reviews it appears that this is becoming the norm and it is absolutely unacceptable! It seemed like the ladies were anxiously awaiting to go home and be done for the day. Being that Northwestern Medicine is a well respected establishment, something needs to change locally sooner than later. I remember the days when this immediate care rated 5 stars. It is my hope that you all get this turned around."

"As someone who works for northwestern this place is absolutely horrible! I had to wait for 2 1/2 hours while everyone behind me got called back. Once back in the room the MA was considering and rude. He talks to you as if you’re slow and proceeds to say there is 8 ppl infornt of you there is going to be a wait just so you know. Um ok, are you telling me I should leave? Oh no I can’t tell you to leave but just know you’re going to be waiting. Proceeds to tell me how long of a wait it’s going to be almost as if he’s telling me to leave, doctor comes in and basically tells me to go to delnor. Now after waiting almost teo hours to be seen I have to wait at delnor all night."

"My mom works at this place, and started feeling heart attack symptoms …. High blood pressure, numbness to her face , dizziness , nausea , so on and so forth …. And the treatment she received from the receptionist was poor … not sure if it’s because she wanted to leave because it was late in the day. My mom was not feeling well enough to write or drive she had to call me to pick her up and ended up taking her to the ER….. very disappointed in a place my mom has worked very hard to be treated in this manner. She was on the verge of heart attack and that girl only cared about going home apparently. I recommend if you have an emergency don’t show up so late in the day as they are in a rush to go home."
