"Captain Tim was awesome had a long charter 130 to sunset about 8ish and sailed a while stoped in a cove to swim and brought our own food and had a nice meal sailing and got an amazing sunset. He is super informative and you have a question he'll answer it was awesome. He really enjoys what he's doing and it shows it's super relaxing and fun, just a great experience to have."
"If you’re looking for the perfect birthday/celebration/bonding experience.. look at SailAustin. Capt’n Tim at SailAustin provides by far the best charter I have ever been on. I am surprised to find they don’t have a Google review so I’m sharing my experience here. From the moment I contacted Capt’n Tim expressing interest in booking a private charter for my friend’s birthday, he was kind, responsive and helpful. Tim took the time to answer all my questions and then some, looking up the moon phases to provide evidence that our night sail would be as beautiful as promised. The boat itself is magnificent and impressive (I think it’s the largest sail boat on the lake). He had everything we needed; Bluetooth stereo, complimentary water, pool noodles, even a professional camera. My friend was in tears with how amazing the whole experience was... which is how I know I outdid myself finding this charter (by chance!). The experience is affordable for a captained charter on Lake Travis and an incredible value for the experience you get. Much of this comes from Tim doing what he loves (sailing!) and wanting to share that experience with others. I even learned to sail a bit! I don’t normally write reviews but I am so incredibly thankful to have found Capt’n Tim and to have been part of such an amazing sailing experience."
