The Iron Plate Gym

"Best gym in Central Texas hands down, and I've trained at most of the so-called "Meccas" in the area. Owners, staff and trainers are all nice and beyond helpful. I initially had issues checking in through the door, but the owners and staff went above and beyond to ensure we got it resolved, which we did promptly. Equipment is in mint condition, plates/dumbbells are always racked and organized. Cable attachments are all great as well. Bathrooms are pristine in cleanliness no matter if it's early in the morning or late at night. Free gym towels and barbasol disinfectant bottles for use, so you know the equipment is sterilized at all times. Large chunk of the gym is Rogue equipment which is hands down some of the best in the industry. There's something for everyone here, whether you're a body builder, powerlifter, an athlete, or whatever other goals you may have in mind for your fitness journey. I've only been here 2 weeks but man what a blessing finding this place has been."

"I've been at this gym for about 1.5 weeks now, and it's been an incredible experience. Despite its smaller size, it never feels crowded. There's ample space for different training programs and a great variety of equipment. The owner, Jason, clearly chose quality over quantity when selecting the gear, and it shows. The atmosphere is super safe, and I would feel completely comfortable working out there late at night by myself. The gym is also very clean and everyone seems to do their part in keeping the equipment wiped and ready for use. Jason has been really approachable, patiently answering my questions about the equipment."

The new expanded hours from 4 AM to 12 AM is a game changer for me. And the moment I walked in for the first time, I was greeted by a neatly folded stack of clean towels! I’ve never had towel service at any gym I’ve been a member of since I moved to the Austin area 6 years ago. I’ve never felt overwhelmed, the members have impeccable etiquette, and everyone I’ve been around has meant business and are focused on their work. Finally, I no longer have to feel guilty about cutting evenings short with my family just to squeeze in a workout. Gone are the days of hurried goodbyes; now, I can focus on quality time with my loved ones and still manage to hit the gym before closing time....and if i'm up for it, long before the kiddos wake up. Thanks to the Iron Plate Training Ground, my fitness and family life are perfectly balanced."
