"Coach McMullen is one of the best skills trainers my boys have ever had! His style, intensity, and skills taught are unlike any other trainers in Houston. There are plenty of so-called skills trainers but I find a lot of them do pointless drills just to tire the kids out or teach super fancy moves so the parents feel that the kids received a good workout. In Coach McMullen’s workouts, he first teaches the skill and how and when that skill should be used. Then he has the kids perform the skill in a small group live read situation. He provides constant feedback and detailed instruction on each child’s mistakes during the live play. The workouts are intense but trainees are taught to encourage each other as well in a friendly competitive environment. I would recommend Coach McMullen for any player who is serious about basketball and is looking to take their game to the next level. It has absolutely taken both my boys to the next level of play. There are reasons why he continues to train some of the top talent in Houston. Once you go once, you will be hooked!"
