"Beautiful building and the gardens are award winning. Every apartment is fully furnished with everything you need and feels like home. We have stayed here a few times and have been in different apartments every time. I enjoy that each one has it's own private balcony, that also has seating. The owners are friendly and welcoming, making sure all guests are taken care of. A GREAT home away from home."

"I see my honest review is gone ,so I guess I will write another. Your deposit will be stolen by Jackie, She will not hire someone to clean the apt and say how filthy it was when it was the same grease stained walls as when i moved in. She will clean it herself because she is cheap and will not hire a cleaning person and deduct that cost out of deposit, much easier to be cheap and steal deposits. Also the area has vagrants drug addicts and mentally unstable people everwhere, if you are a traveling nurse and thinking about moving to pekin , i warned you!!!!! Homeless people were in the building to stay warm,true story. very very very old creaky building , east peoria or morton would be a much better option, pekin is a dumpster!!!!!!!!!!"

I loved sitting out on the balcony in the evenings and the flowers outside were so pretty! If I am ever in the area again on contract I’d definitely reach out for availability again!"

"I stumbled upon this apartment desperately seeking a place to stay while on assignment at OSF. First of all, Jackie (landlady) communicated very well during the whole moving in process and made sure to show me around when I arrived. The apartment turned out to be way more than I expected! Very spacious, clean, and inviting. I loved the decor inside and the huge balcony. My bed was so comfy and I slept like a queen each night. I truly felt at home, away from home. If I am ever in town again, I will definitely keep Buena Vista in mind. You get way more than you pay for and a piece of mind which is priceless!"

"To label these as apartments, does not give these beautiful units the justice they deserve. It was the first time we have ever had to rent an apartment and I am glad Buena Vista was our first experience. We put our house up for sale and it sold within 12 hours, leaving us with nowhere to go. We were still in the process of house hunting and this opportunity fell right into our lap. Not having to sign a 6 month or a 1yr lease was exactly what we were looking for. They were able to create the lease according to our time frame. The unit was like a 2 bedroom house, as if we never left home. Having these units fully furnished, allowed us to keep our items in storage so we didn't have to move twice. The ambiance, beautiful decorations, and historical woodwork makes these units warm and cozy. The location is in walking distance to everything that you need and centralized for travel to other nearby cities. The security and parking is top notch!!. Buena Vista will be the first place I recommend for anyone that needs a place to stay for an extended visit. Thank you again Buena Vista---you will be missed"
