"Coach Blaine is a great coach. He knows baseball and does a great job of preparing his players. He runs a great practice. But a lot of coaches can do that. What makes him extra special is that he makes it a positive experience and the boys really respect him because he cares about them. Everybody gets to play and you shouldn’t waste your time on some team where your kid is not getting reps in my opinion- it doesn’t matter how many trophies there are, it’s about their development and their enjoyment of the game. My boys have moved on from baseball, but they always say that Coach Blaine’s protégé team was one of their favorites! Frankly that’s what matters in the long run…"

"Coach Blaine's approach to training and coaching young athletes is driven by the athlete and not a cookie cutter formula. He takes the time to get to know his clients, and he works with and tailors his training to the needs of that specific athlete, with that athlete's particular strengths and weaknesses in mind. He is knowledgeable, passionate and communicates very well. I highly recommend Protege Athletics."

"My son Matthew played for Coach Blaine J. for several seasons. It was a very positive experience, coach was very positive and encouraging to his players. His practices were very well planned, working players hard on each skill in the game. Coach worked very hard with the kids and was very hands on in practices. I always walked away from his practices thinking it was definitely worth the time. I also felt like he got the most out of his players. Coach is a high integrity guy, can't find a better program."
