About the Business
Mitsi Dancing School, located at 4899-B Highway 6 in Missouri City, Texas, is a prestigious institution known for its excellence in dance education. Recently, one of our talented dancers, Emily Cheng, achieved 2nd Place Classical at the YAGP Boca-Raton semi-final and has been invited to the 2024 YAGP World Final at Lincoln Center. In addition, three of our solo dancers and two ensemble dances have also qualified for the final, showcasing the high level of talent at our school.
At Mitsi Dancing School, we offer a range of programs for dancers of all ages and levels. Our nonprofit dance company, Movements In Time (MIT), provides opportunities for young dancers to train intensively in ballet and participate in performances and competitions. Members of MIT have access to unique stage venues and the chance to compete in prestigious events such as WBC, UBC, and YAGP.
For children ages 3 and above, Mitsi Dancing School offers a comprehensive dance program that includes ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, and more. Our pre-professional program, MIT Pro, is designed for home-schooled dancers ages 8-19 who are interested in pursuing a professional career in dance. With three full-sized studios in Houston, Katy, and Sugar Land, Mitsi Dancing School provides convenient locations for students to hone their skills and pursue their passion for dance.

"OK, I am VERY SURPRISED the school doesn't have many reviews yet! My daughter Sophia has enrolled this school for over a year now, I have nothing but great things to say about this school. First, let me start with our new teacher Mrs Tina, she is one of the newest teachers in the school AND great addition to Mitsi! I CANT THANK her enough to help us develop sophia's talent and build her foundation. Mrs Tina is so professional, knowledgeable and caring! She will promote so much growth in your child. My daughter has improved SIGNIFICANTLY! She is one of the BEST teachers we have so far! I am so happy to say my little girl grows into a little ballerina! The school staffs are very friendly and always respond to your questions and concerns in a timely manner and very organized! We have tried other dancing school in Sugarland ( one closed by lifetime fitness, such a waste of time and money!) I HIGHLY recommend MITSI dancing school! If you have a little girl with dream of becoming a dancer, this is the place to start!"
