"I was REALLY disappointed with this place. Originally I had applied early to try and secure a place over the summer. I was approved, which was great. We talked things over back and forth for a while, but my financials were not in the right place to rent for 5 additional months before I could actually move in. I was told me $100 fee (the actual fee is $100 plus a non-refundable $50 fee) would not be refunded because I got approved. If I had been rejected, I would get refunded, but approval meant no refund. That would have been fine if they had told me earlier when we talked on the phone before I applied, and adding insult to injury in a phone call, management told me it would most likely get refunded after I told them my situation. I had heard a few good things about this place, but this left a sour taste in my mouth, and to be honest I am really disappointed. The few good things have been shown to be wrong. I am still actively looking for places, and many of my friends who are graduating are as well. Knowing all that, I would think a place like this would want to be more accommodating. If you are thinking about renting here, there are a lot of good options around the city. Be sure to ask the right questions when you talk to them about applying."

"Kind of shocking and ridiculous that their cheapest unit is just over $1300 a month and no utilities are included whatsoever. The whole point of renting an apartment instead of renting or owning a home is so some things, such as utilities and maintenance, are included in the package. For somewhere so "nice" that "offers so much" for its residents, this place is literally doing the bare minimum when it comes to apartment rental."

"We rented a three bedroom unit here for two years and only left due to a job transfer. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The team at Pembroke is stellar; friendly, kind, and prompt. The facilities are lovely - big pool and awesome work out center. I loved the big patio and will miss the space to relax and enjoy my coffee. They are very pet friendly and many many renters here have furkids. The neighbors were all quiet and respectful. We will miss Rhonda and the Pembroke team! They have set the bar high for our next rental on the other side of the country."
