"Details about the gym: the 4 courts on either side do not have space for the server, so athletes can't practice during scrimmages, the road to the gym is very dark through warehouses and no signage, if any athlete moves out of bounds they are in danger."

"Took my young daughter to a 3-day summer camp which supposedly allowed new kids to learn the sport. Not well done at all. First, they started with 30 minutes of hard-core warm ups— she could barely walk the next day. Next, they had an hour of “level assessments “ where they asked the girls to bump, set and others skills. Way to build confidence and enthusiasm with new players. Couldn’t you simply ask them if they had played before, split them up and go through basic mechanics first? Also, one of the “coaches” was terrible. For example, she would toss a ball over the net to a student who then had to bump it over the net back to her. The first 3 kids in line did fine. When it came to my child’s turn, she threw the ball at her head-level. My daughter swung and missed, of course. There was no way she would have been able to hit it. However, instead of saying “my bad“ and giving her a redo, she said, “You need to move to the ball“ and sent her to the back of the line again. They went through the exercise once more. Same result -first three kids got decent tosses, and my daughter got one thrown over her shoulder, with the exact same comment again. Seriously, someone needs to teach this [high school?] kid how to coach. Lastly, they were teaching the young girls how to serve overhand by slapping at the ball. If there’s one sure fire way to injure yourself, that is it. You’re supposed to have a firm palm or fist to serve a ball. Just for the record, I used to help my college volleyball team train, and I know how it should be done. This is not it."

"Nice facility and courts. Food is over priced, $2 for a small bag of chips, and there is no consistency in the judges. Some are really good and some, not so much."

"This place is great, all the coaches are focused on developing these young athletes. Plenty of clinics that focus on your players particular needs from basic to advanced. In a few months my daughter has grown as player. We have found our volleyball home!!"
