The steel targets are the best! I love hearing the sound confirming I have hit my target. You can fire at any of the targets too, not just the one directly in front of you like other ranges. "I have been shooting and training at Lone Star Handgun range for several years and it is by far the best gun range I have ever been to. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The business is veteran owned and employs several military veterans on staff. The facilities are very nice and the owner Josh keeps investing and improving the place. My entire family enjoys shooting here. I highly recommend Lone Star Handgun for firearms training as well as purchasing various firearms/products from their store all very reasonably priced. Truly a great place to train!"
"I was on my way traveling across the country and a good friend of mine wanted to take me shooting at an outdoor range for my first time. I had a great experience going out to practice and get more comfortable with firearms. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, the facility was clean organized and convenient. I also got some experience with 100-300 yard shots which was a first for me and I really enjoyed! For anyone considering trying it out I highly recommend it!"
