"This morning I had scheduled an annual well visit for an insurance discount which was time sensitive. I told them at the time that this was the case. I made the necessary preparations to get to my 7:30am scheduled appointment. I arrive five minutes early and the receptionist tells me: "Your scheduled appointment was a mistake. We just tried to call you. The nurse practioner can't see you because you have another primary care physician, and she is on vacation this week." I explained my situation and the time sensitive nature of this and was told it simply couldn't be done. I asked about my rights as a patient. They agreed that I had the right to fire my primary care physician and have another. They agreed that the Nurse practitioner could do my physical. They agreed that the nurse practitioner had me scheduled for 7:30 that morning. I said, "Ok, I fire my primary care physician. Now can I please go to the appointment you all scheduled for me?" No, apparently not. I asked to speak to the nurse practitioner. I was told, "She's with a patient." I said-- "how strange, since I'm the patient she's scheduled to see right now. I'll wait." They go back to the back and 30 seconds later they come out: the nurse practitioner won't come back to speak with you. They made me come to this early appointment only to turn me away, utterly disregard my time, effort, or rights as a patient, and then they had the nerve to lie to my face while simultaneously preventing the practitioner from speaking to me directly. I will NEVER go back to such unethical, billing-oriented, discourteous, unprofessional, venomous snakes again. I'll also note that my phone did not register any calls from their office."

"I was here on the 29th of July. I had 2 medications called into the pharmacy for me. One of the medications my insurance does not cover. It's $300 out of pocket for one month. The pharmacy has reached out to the doctor for an alternative medication several times with no response. I had to call the office 3 times to find out after my first call they sent a message to the doctor yesterday morning and still nothing. Pretty sad a patient has to go without their medication."

"My husband doesn't like going to a doctor, because he doesn't like taking time off of work. He finally agrees to see a doctor, and I call Mercy to schedule an appointment with Dr. Melton. Being a new patient, the appointment was a two month wait. Upon showing up for the appointment, the receptionist is baffled, because Dr Melton isn't in the office. She said they called me to reschedule the appointment. I checked my phone, and I did not receive a voicemail nor was their office number in my incoming calls, but once, which was for my follow up appt. with Dr. Mertens. The receptionist argued with me that they did indeed call me. I asked her to reschedule the appointment, and it was another two months before my husband could see Dr. Melton. Totally ridiculous and unprofessional in my opinion."
