"I was having a hard time gaining strength and weight. I was training different marital arts and I was having a hard time finding the balance of strength training, martial arts, and my intensive work scheduled. Jonathan put me to work and I started to see results right away. As he is a martial artist and served for his country, he understood my other activities and how to continue to build on them. This guy has the knowledge to give anyone the results they want. Plus his home gym is awesome."

"I have been training with Jonathan for over a year now and in one year he has helped me in so many different ways to achieve my fitness and health goals. Thanks to his training I was able to run a marathon, something that I thought I could never do! He worked with me on building strength, nutrition, and how to prepare myself mentally. He also helped me cope with injuries from running and if it wasn't for him I probably would have given up. Lastly, one of my favorite attributes of this gym and Jonathan’s philosophy, is that no matter the specific fitness goal, it’s about doing everything the RIGHT way. "I've played competitive sports for most of my life and have been exposed to many different coaching styles and fitness programs. I can say without hesitation that the range of knowledge and level of coaching at 5 Strengths Gym is unmatched in all my experience. Any time I have some specific areas I feel like I need to improve upon, or an old injury I need to fend off, Jonathan offers a multitude of helpful exercises and stretches that are always effective. He also keeps things interesting and exciting, very dynamic in motions and in variety. He takes a holistic approach to fitness in addition to the serious physical training, including dietary guidelines and ways to deal with stress and build mental toughness. I started training at 5 Strengths to see if I could address some serious plantar fasciitis, which for the prior year had me wincing in pain every morning I got out of bed and which was keeping me from running. Jonathan demonstrated some exercises and stretches, worked through them with me, and after a few sessions I could already notice improvements. Within a month, my symptoms were gone (amazing!). Within two months I felt a lot stronger than even before my injury. Same goes for my shoulder for which I had surgery 3 years ago... it's now stronger than it's felt in the last 5 years. I have since trained with Jonathan at 5 Strengths for the past 2 years, making measurable progress in strength and health the entire time, allowing me to return to levels of strength and fitness necessary to succeed in competitive sports and the demands of an active lifestyle. Aside from top-tier physical coaching, Jonathan has a very warm manner and is always very positive, and is an inspiration in his own level of activity and many adventures.
