"There are a lot of reasons to love training in this system, but here are a few: *Well structured*: When I started the Rister system almost a year ago, I had only a cursory knowledge of FMA, but I was able to jump into a more experienced group and gain a strong foundation in movement and angles, and the curriculum builds intuitively from there. *Practical*: Jon Rister cuts out the showiness of other weapons arts and focuses on techniques that are sensible, practical, and effective.
