"We bought a private sword lesson for our 11 year old and scheduled it 2 weeks in advance. When we got there, the only person nearby was a homeless guy screaming at himself by a dumpster. The doors were locked. The lesson was scheduled through Google, so I had never called before. When I tried to call, I quickly found out there is no posted number anywhere. Not even on the website. Through a Facebook message, I was told they mixed up the times, and the instructor was 40 minuets out. I don't know how many sword fighting places the metroplex has, but go somewhere else. Especially for grappling. Plenty of highly acclaimed Brazilian jujitsu and MMA gyms around that are run by elite competitors. They'll all be happy for your business"

"Came here for my bachelor party and was not disappointed. We got to learn basic footwork, stances, weapons and drills. The highlight for sure though was the foam sword duels. Putting the theories we learned into practice really brought to life the intensity of melee combat. If I didn't live so far away I would be here every Saturday."

"I love attending the fitness and historical fighting classes here, the staff is helpful and knowledgable and always ready and willing to answer questions. Good range of available equipment and space for practicing Update after 18+ months of attending: still hooked"

"A great place for people from all walks of life to come together and train. Lots of options for everyone, ranging from super experienced fighers who want to bash and crash, and people new to any kind of martial discipline who want to try it out for the first time in a friendly and welcoming environment."

"I've been attending Warlord Combat Academy for six months. I'm in the best shape of my life, my Instagram is lousy with armored photos, I've gained 1,000 Facebook friends from all over the world, and I've gained a core group of trusted and loyal friends that I see weekly. The Academy offers several different types of fighting classes, with a tiered membership structure. I've attended Sambo classes (fun and informative! J is an awesome coach!), Historical European Martial Arts classes (technically challenging but rewarding,) Kyber lightsaber events (what. a. blast.), Hungarian Winged Saber class (a whole different ball game,) Fighting Fitness classes (Crossfit on steroids,) and, of course, full contact armored combat classes with the Dallas Warlords. If you're looking for a new community, a new discipline, and a fantastic motivation to get healthier, this is absolutely the way to go. It's easy to drop by and check out a few classes for free, and I absolutely recommend it!"
