"I was going through a hard time through 2020-2021. I missed an excessive amount of appointments. I understand this is totally my fault. However I deal with mental health issues as well and I was really spiraling. On top of all the traumatic things happening. I have a hard time scheduling appointments and keeping up with them for myself. They refuse to take me as a patient. Even to this day. There is no expiring period for it. Once you’re banned from this office you can never come back. So my recommendation is if you have issues like mine. Don’t schedule with them."

"My boyfriend has a nodule on his thyroid that needs to have a biopsy. He was referred to SLU, they have no referral. We have been trying to get this done for 2 weeks. We get passed back and forth from Dr. Milam's office to SLU. SLU claims they don't have a referral, Dr. Milam's office says they have sent it. Not sure what the disconnect is but it seems like someone could maybe I don't know, use the phone to find out what the problem is. I get that doctor's offices are very busy and we do appreciate the hard work but this is crazy. When you call no one answers, you have to leave a message. Our healthcare system should not be this broken. My doctor's office is great, I never have these problems."
