At Savage Krav Maga, we believe in becoming savage in order to protect ourselves and our loved ones. Our techniques are designed to defend against attacks savagely, while also promoting a sense of family and community within our school. We prioritize technique over aggression, and our realism is ingrained through sparring and grappling sessions that prioritize safety for all students.
We have a zero tolerance policy for bullies, meatheads, and egos, and instead focus on creating a supportive and inclusive environment for all who train with us. "I have been training here going on 2 yrs now. Started with Krav Maga with my 8yr old son (at the time), added Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, added Muay Thai Kick Boxing, added Combat Fitness and then my daughter joined, and than my wife. Needless to say, the organization is family friendly and the members become family if you embrace it Its a great way to spend time with my kids, relieve tension, get stress out all while developing real-life useful skills: situational awareness, survival reaction, self-defense. KM is not a sport, its true defense & offense. Its also a great way to improve fitness in non-traditional work-out gym setting Christian is a natural teacher and just fun to be around. Marc is a former pro and will humble you while building you up. And the student teachers just become brothers and sisters (or at least cousins twice removed). The most important tips I can give: 1 - come try it out. 2 - open yourself to the comradery. 3 - Give it more than 1 class. 1 class is a lot to take in and make a decision on. Give it a week...or better yet train and go thru the 1st belt test...EARN that 1st belt...and you will be hooked with a goal for the next belt; and the next... When I joined, I was like "Nah just here to sweat a little and...you know, whatever." I had no desire to test. I was mainly there to support my son who needed an outlet other than Xbox because he has just not taken to stick and ball team sports but is excelling at KM, especially the ground work in BJJ. But after earning my yellow belt and currently working towards my purple, the goals set themselves"
"I've absolutely loved training here! Christian and his coaches are great at teaching you no matter what level you're at. All classes are family friendly and appropriate for all ages. It's really fun and the people here are awesome. If you're on the fence - give it a go!"
