Born and raised in the DFW area, Dr. Moayad was inspired by her uncle, a pediatrician in Arlington, to pursue a career in pediatrics. She attended the University of Texas at Austin for college, followed by medical school at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth and residency training at the Tulane-Ochsner program in New Orleans.
Dr. Moayad is passionate about providing high quality healthcare to children of all backgrounds and believes in the importance of collaborating with patients' families. She recently joined the team at Cook Children's and is thrilled to be fulfilling her dream of working at the renowned hospital. In her free time, Dr. Moayad enjoys spending time with her family, participating in community activities, traveling, and watching soccer and Pixar movies. She is dedicated to supporting families as they raise their precious children and looks forward to bringing her expertise and compassion to Cook Children's.

"This clinic threatened to disallow my 17 year old daughter to have her new baby seen here because she asked for time to think about whether or not to let her baby get a non-required vaccine at her 2 month checkup. (All required vaccines were given) Then when she decided to get her baby the RSV shot, the baby’s father took her in only to be told they didn’t have the shot THAT WE SPECIFICALLY MADE THE APPOINTMENT FOR. When he asked if there were any neighboring clinics that had it, he was told ‘I don’t know’ and was told to leave because they were ‘really busy’."
