The Toros Soccer Academy at Plaza Sports Center is the top children's soccer training academy in the Rio Grande Valley, focusing on technique for players aged 5 to 16 in a fun and relaxed environment. Summer soccer camps are available for children aged 5 to 16, preparing them for local soccer leagues.
Our Youth Recreational League is a developmental program focused on the enjoyment and development of soccer players without high-level competition. We also offer soccer leagues for men and women, with various divisions to cater to all skill levels.
In addition to our soccer programs, Plaza Sports Center offers party rentals for birthdays, graduations, and corporate events. Our onsite Fuera de Lugar Restaurant serves delicious Mexican cuisine and is the perfect place to enjoy a meal before or after a game.

"Awful place to play, there is no real standards when it comes to their refs. Also management gives you the run around when it comes to their rules and they break them themselves when they want. They don’t care to listen to customer, once you pay for registration, they do as they please. They just want the money. Excuses will come for this review im sure of it as always, cover ups. The league handler, does not care about customer at all. Ticking time bomb honestly, gets mad about everything and always in bad mood."
"There is no real standards when it comes to their refs. Also management gives you the run around when it comes to their rules. I would suggest management under their rules to add " ANY OF THESE VIOLATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO A RED OR YELLOW CARD LEFT TO THE CRITERIA OF THE REFEREE". That's basically would take care of most questions and would allow management to give you a straight answer."
"My boys have been coming here for just over a year at the time of this review. We've been very pleased with the coaching, communication, practices, and games. It's definitely a commitment as we easily come here at least 3 times a week for practice and games."
"My children have been playing in this facility for almost 4 years now and Plaza has not been able to put some shade for the kids in the outter soccer field. Parents or coaches need to be carring shades for the kids when they play outside since the heat is terrible and the bleachers in the field get super hot. Hopefully this year they are able to finally put some shade for the kids in the field!"
"The fields are nice, grass is turf and very well maintained. Price to play here is a little pricey. They require team inscription payment per season, ID which must be purchased separately, and ref money which is payed every game."
