Dr. Alice Phillips is a dedicated pediatrician located at 6210 John Ryan Drive in Fort Worth, Texas. Dr. Phillips received her undergraduate degree from Texas A & M University and completed her medical school at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. She then went on to complete her Pediatric Residency at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston before relocating to Fort Worth in 1996.
Dr. Phillips has a passion for serving the children of Fort Worth, both in her practice at Cook Children's Physician Network and in her community involvement. She is the Founding Director of a Big Brother's Big Sisters mentoring program through her church, matching at-risk kids with mentors at Rosemont Elementary School. She also supports back-to-school uniform drives and Christmas projects for FWISD students.
Dr. Phillips believes in treating the whole child, addressing not just their medical needs but also their mental and social well-being. Her dedication to her patients has earned her praise from patient families, who appreciate her caring and compassionate approach to pediatric care.
In addition to her work in her practice and in the community, Dr. Phillips is currently working towards her Masters in Public Health at the University of North Texas Health Science Center. Dr Phillips has been the primary for all three of my boys and I am incredibly confident in her and her staff. The spacing of appointments always gives you plenty of time with the doctor for all questions and concerns. As a nursing momma I was always grateful to be told that the room was mine until he was ready to go if he needed to nurse after shots. My girls actually ASK me to take them to her when they're not feeling well. Dr. Brennan is great too! (We've only seen her a couple of times when Dr. Philips was out.) The nurses and staff are very welcoming and polite. Everyone is great with my daughters. They speak TO the children and not "about" them to me. Dr. Philips is very thorough and has great bedside manner. Waiting time is next to nothing (if you have an appointment). I've recommended them to many friends and will continue to do so! I only wish they were open on Saturdays!"
