I have a tremendous amount of trust in Dr. Martin's opinions and respect his knowledge. He and his entire team have been wonderful partners in providing my son's care, both for acute illnesses as well as ongoing, long-term care to ensure good health and habits. Dr. Martin has a unique and quirky bedside manner that my son absolutely enjoys. His demeanor puts my son at ease, gets him to laugh, and allows him to open up and be confident in speaking with his doctor. If you can't understand or appreciate "quirky," there are other doctors on staff who are also fantastic."
"I had the absolute worst experience with alliance Pediatrics. I’m a first time young mom with a new born and he was inconsolable tonight. I was scared and knew something was wrong so I called the nurse line. She said she wanted to call the on call dr which was Dr Martin tonight because she was worried about our son. (The nurse line was absolutely amazing!) Dr Martin was rude to the nurse and told her he was not willing to speak to me and to go to the emergency room if he’s inconsolable for more than 2 hours. I think this is completely unprofessional, and even the nurse thought so as well. What makes this even worse is while I was at the office with my newborn this morning I saw Dr. Martin go into a room with a young child, and through the door heard him say oh so we are going to throw a temper tantrum today. He then proceeded to tell the parents how important it was to ignore children that are throwing temper tantrum’s. Although I don’t know the full story I left the office angry at the thought of a pediatrician telling what is possibly a scared child that they must be throwing a temper tantrum."
