"This place is very misleading. Chances are they don’t take your insurance, but of course you can pay out of pocket… They dropped my one insurance, I got another. They dropped my wife’s insurance. Found out they don’t carry my new one either. And these are big name companies like Aetna, United Healthcare, etc…I actually asked when I made the appointment and was told they take my insurance. I got there and was told they don’t. So rather than waste your time, go somewhere else. Funny I was going there to fix a potential screw up from a previous hernia surgery they did."

"Terrible medical provider. Would rather seek care outside the U.S. if this was the last place in the U.S. Doctors communicate incorrect information. Mislead patients about expectations for future appointments. Promises the sky at one appointment and then delivers the hog pen a couple days later."

"If I could give negative stars, I would. I have never experienced what I did at any other type of Urgent Care. Medical Associates says that they will file a claim to any insurance but what they don’t tell you is that the doctor you see may not be within your coverage of insurance. I have never experienced that at any urgent care and they are NOT upfront about it. Instead I got a bill in the mail for $142 for a doctor seeing me for maybe 5 minutes. When spoke to about this, they told me “that is the patients responsibility to know that”. After I was told that, I looked on their website and I couldn’t find what they take for insurance and which doctors take my insurance; if it is there, it is not easily accessible. I will never go back to a medical associates and I feel like this system is manipulative. My insurance provider let me know that sometimes these clinics do that, and I should call from now on to make sure there is a doctor there who takes my insurance. Which is stupid. If I am going into an urgent care, usually you never know which doctor you will get. And, am I supposed to plan when I am sick? I feel completely blind sided by this, and this should be said and upfront right away! Instead they have you see the doctor and then bill you so there is nothing you can do about it."

"I'd give it negative stars if I could. Between them and Mercy the worst experience of my life. Of you like waiting for hours to see a doctor then Mercy is the perfect hospital for you. And Medical Associates more like Medical IDIOTS. Switched to Grand River Medical and is much better."
