"You know, reading reviews is always my go to !! I am pretty thrown off with each of the last 5 - 8 reviews. My experience has been absolutely wonderful. To start off, Dr. Sosa caught my son’s bilirubin at the hospital. He kept him for observation 24 hrs. He also had a follow up within 3 days of our hospital discharge. Keep in mind, I have been told not all doctors catch the bilirubin during the hospital stay. He then ordered another lab and his staff called me before 6pm to notify me of the results (same day). The staff did answer my concerns on particular questions I had over the phone. However, we did deal with a dull staff member on our 1st visit (mind you this is in any doctor’s office). It wasn’t such a big deal to us we brushed it off. Aside the fact, Dr. Sosa is a very uplifting person who answers all my questions and concerns. He’s been very attentive to my son. He makes me and my partner feel safe. We never feel dumb asking questions as first time parents. As far as wait time there has been absolutely no ridiculous wait times. Our first appointment we were the ones running late we got called in as soon as we got there. We recently just had another appointment and we got called within less than 15 minutes. I have to disagree with half the reviews I just read. I am huge in reviews, so I thought i’d leave a review myself. Dr. Sosa is known to be the best in Laredo and he has lived up to our expectations as first time parents. Keep in mind, we’re 100% new to parenthood and feeling confident about our pediatrician was key. I highly recommend Dr. Sosa."

"Doctor does not care. I heard an experience with my friend’s child and child could have died due to his lack of knowledge. They had to switch to a different doctor. Be careful."

"Dr is good however, the front desk is ALWAYS with a damn attitude! You can even hear on a phone, just plain ridiculously rude! This lady in particular doesn't seem to hear or listen attentively and even her sarcastic personality. Hopefully they get removed ASAP for people willing to work. Waiting times are already a hassle, and to be struggling with someone's attitude is already topping it off!! Yesterday I called to let know my baby had a temperature and was feeling sick, they were not accepting patients and rather went to the nearer ER available. Really mad at this situation right now, hope I can reach the supervisor."

"By far one of the most arrogant, self centered ego filled so called Dr. If he was once good it was a long time ago, when they could get away with murder and they have. Because of incompetence and unwillingness to do his job I almost lost someone. Stay away."

"I got recommended here but Front desk is just horrible. They take hours to answer. I understand its a busy place. I waited 3 hours to see doctor 2 in the room! Doctor will be good if your one of the first because a time i saw him in the afternoon he as just like yea yea didn't even check my daughter! I would NOT Recommend this place! Doctor does not put his efforts! i changed Drs everything i was tell him my daughter was doing was diagnosed as AUTISM in Corpus. While he would just say its a child its NORMAL!"
