"Avoid the OB practice at this hospital. About a year ago I went into the ER with extreme pain in my stomach and I also happened to be pregnant. I was sent up to the OB floor to be evaluated and the nurse quickly dismissed me saying it was morning sickness which made no sense to me because I had stabbing pain in my abdomen and was also 21 weeks and never once had even the slightest bit of nausea my entire pregnancy. She didn’t run any tests or check me out at all other than confirm the baby’s heartbeat. She sent us home and the pain never subsided and I found myself back at the ER about 24 hours later. I was trying really hard to not go back because I felt like a burden and had already been told they weren’t concerned. At this point I hadn’t slept for 2 days because the pain was so excruciating. When we got to the ER I pleaded that they wouldn’t send me back to the OB floor because the nurse made me feel so stupid for going in the first place. I said I really thought it was an appendicitis and was worried about how much time had passed since I was already sent home once. The ER agreed to check me out and found that my white blood cell count was extremely high indicating infection and after begging them to give me some kind of scan, they agreed and found that I indeed had an appendicitis that was about to rupture. While I waited to be prepped for surgery they sent me to the OB floor to wait where I was met with the same nurse who dismissed me earlier and she said “Back so soon? You didn’t tell me you thought it was an appendicitis!” As if it was my fault that she didn’t catch it - isn’t she the one with the degree? The surgery went fine and I awoke in the recovery room with someone who must have been monitoring me and she was extremely rude. I was groggy from sedation and I couldn’t open my eyes and she didn’t offer any kind of information about how things went. She wheeled me back up to my room and bumped me into walls the entire way. I couldn’t open my eyes and could barely talk, but I could hear what was going on around me. When we got in the room she said “oh shoot I forgot the transfer piece” (whatever they use to get you from one bed to another) and she then said “she can get up just fine” - mind you I had just gotten out of surgery, I’m 21 weeks pregnant, and I’m still heavily sedated. All I could do was cry because I couldn’t get words out because I was still that heavily sedated. I heard my husband say “can’t we move her ourselves?” And the nurse replied “I DONT KNOW WHY SHE’S CRYING SHE WAS FINE A MINUTE AGO.” They inevitably transferred me. My OB said I didn’t need to stay overnight, but my surgeon explained that there was so much infection that they had to keep me on a drain since the baby was as big as it was and positioned in a way that they couldn’t remove all the infection. My OB acted like it was unnecessary that I was there which I felt the opposite cuz I had a drain coming out of my stomach that was needing to be changed every few hours and I was extremely weak. During my stay, the nurses never once asked if I needed help getting up to go to the bathroom which I DID need because I was so weak. One nurse continued to forget my pain medication that I begged for because I was so miserable. About 2 weeks later I had a different kind of pain that felt like it could be contractions. I went into the ER, then sent to the OB floor again where the nurse concluded that I was dehydrated without checking me at all. I refused to leave without being looked at better and I waited around 4 hours for them to scan me which found internal bleeding and my baby was in distress. So if I didn’t fight to stay, I would have actually died. I was ambulanced to Milwaukee Froedert where I ended up delivering early and my baby didn’t make it. They said the infection caused a placental abruption. I can’t help but wonder if the outcome would have been different if they listened to me the first time I went in, but I will never know. Extremely devastating beyond words. They are dismissive and clearly uneducated here. Stay away!"

"This is very fast manage patients place. I love this hospital, I always come the emergency if I have some problems. Today I went there for dehydration. I was so short breathing last night and very confused and dizzy today. So I called ambulance and I went to the room right away, everybody just so fast to manage everything and so professional. Doctor Kenneth Heidle was helped me today, he did everything checked on me, and give me fluids IV, and i feel much better after the treatment. I hope emergency always can keep this fast for everyone, we are so appreciate the hospital."

"If you ever come here for an OB visit, NEVER EVER see Brian Tillis. He practically assaults you during your cervical or physical exam, whether you're pregnant or not. He doesn't care about you or your health. He's in this system for the money and thinks women are just things with holes in them. He doesn't understand what he does hurts us and makes us women feel assaulted and traumatized for years. Stay the hell away from him if you want to keep yourself sane. Find a FEMALE OB-GYN. Females know how other females feel. I would never ever visit a Froedtert hospital as long as I live, and I'll ensure my kids, family, and friends never visit one either."

"Since November 28th, my father has been a patient at this hospital in room 2211, and I’ve been visiting him every other day. My concerns about the hospital’s cleanliness have grown with each visit. The garbage cans in his room are overflowing, and the same trash has been on the floor for several days. Nobody has been by to clean his room either! You can tell by the trash cans and stains on the floor. On my recent visit, I was appalled to find my father neglected, lying in his own feces for hours. He’s currently suffering from a low immune system with a severe infection, and the filthy conditions of the hospital are likely exacerbating his health issues. Despite this, there seems to be no effort to diagnose the cause of his infection, with only a cream prescribed and no proper tests conducted. It’s alarming that he hasn’t had a shower in several days or been cleaned, especially considering he has open wounds from surgery, and he appears to be suffering from an allergic reaction to medication, which isn’t being adequately addressed. The restroom in his room was in a deplorable state, an extreme I’ve never seen in any hospital before. There was some kind of body fluid on the door frame and wall that my mother cleaned up herself. While some nurses are competent, others seem to treat their responsibilities with indifference. The poor standard of care, particularly considering the costs, is utterly unacceptable."

"My doctor told me to go the ER as I tested positive for Covid and am having trouble breathing and terrible chest pain. No masks and the front desk was rude and one of them sat playing on her phone. Someone else came in having terrible chest pains and left him sitting until he yelled loud enough and they came out and got him before me. I left and drive into IL. I won’t feel comfortable going here for an emergency."
