"I went for x-rays of my back, in a lot of pain. It shouldn't take more than 24 hours for the doctor to get results, but a week later - I had to call and ask, 'Hey, where's my stuff?' They were great while there, thorough, and I was in and out. I would have said 5 stars, but the wait, while in pain, makes me not so happy."

"I was on vacation this last week in Rend Lake with family when I found out that I potentially had Flu A from a coworker. When I was seen at 8am on Tuesday 11/22, the practioner explained that they did not have rapid tests for the flu and that I would have to wait 4-6 hours for my results. Shocking, but it's rural so I was okay. Then she told me she would not provide me any Tamiflu as my exposure was over three days ago even though symptom onset was the day prior, and she would only write me a script for cough medicine. Due to the holiday and them calling the RX into the wrong pharmacy - the one they called it into was over two hours away and they refused to help me locate one even when I explained I was not local, I was unable to get it before Thanksgiving and the pharmacy error made it impossible to get afterwards. Upon arriving home to Florida on Sunday, I went directly to Urgent Care where I continued to test positive for Flu A, diagnosed with walking pneumonia and also severe laryngitis. Not only did you not provide care, you caused me to become sicker. I hope that this is not the status of care provided to their own citizens. Upon reading reviews I can see this is the standard of care for your local residents. I have formally filed a complaint with the Illinois Department of Health as well."

"Food for thought for this "hospital". The last thing a person wants to hear when in severe pain is a bunch of over the hill , way past retirement age "nurses" laughing like elderly hyenas for literally hours. Two people in this ER currently and left sitting in pain for hours and no one saying anything or telling us anything. If they want to improve their abysmal ratings here's some advice. Replace the geriatric nurses with some younger fresh nurses and teach them what true professionalism is! And maybe this hospital could be saved!"

"With three kids, I have been in the ER for everything from stitches to X-rays, to abdominal pain to head injuries. EVERY TIME we have gone in, we have been seen immediately, had compassionate staff, tests run and read immediately, and in-room check in which allowed my kids to be as comfortable as possible. I thank God I have emergency care minutes from my door."

"I'm writing this review In regards to another review that Jodi Garrett wrote... first of all you don't know the full story of why your boyfriend was terminated. Not only could he not see the dirt that he was supposed to clean he just couldn't do the job period! He was given chance after chance and opportunities after opportunities to show he could do the job but he couldn't do it. No one in the housekeeping department has to buy their own stuff for work everything is provided but some of us buy brooms or dust pans that we like which is what he did on his own. Your boyfriend was a huge liability because he was reckless and didn't follow the proper procedures and he lied about everything. My department and my supervisor bent over backwards to try and help him as much as they could. It's not fair to write a negative review that isn't true because your boyfriend couldn't do the job. I wrote this response to Jodi Garrett's review on my own and i wasn't asked to. Just setting the record straight. This hospital has been a great experience to work for in the almost year I've been here"
