"Please just do yourself a favor and find another apartment around the area. The only value you get out of these apartments are that they are close to the school and the shuttle system. My roommate and I were set to move into our apartment when last minute they tell us that the apartment we were going to move into had a flea problem. Okay no problem we get moved to a different room and get our keys. As soon as we enter the new apartment we find dead bugs everywhere, dirt everywhere, mold in the fridge and dishwasher, and moldy caulking in the bathrooms. They completely forgot about us. Then a couple weeks later we get a bad carpenter ant problem that was never fixed during my stay for a year. My A/C also wasn't working and my room ran at 80 degrees on a good day. They said it's just like that. I also need to mention that they are virtually false advertising with their prices. Nowhere in the website does it state that the utility fee is separate. We are led to assume that the price on the website is all that we will be paying. WRONG. By the time we find out utilities are separate it's too late to find another apartment because the school year is starting. Keep in mind that utilities are about $100 so add that to whatever price they have advertised. Now moving on to move out. I made sure to clean my apartment better than when I got it which isn't hard considering the state I received it. I do a walkthrough with the manager and they verbally give me the all clear. I hand in my keys and go on about my life. My mistake was to not get it in writing because come 3 months later they send me an email threatening to send me to collections for a late utility fee and cleaning fee. I left three items: paper towels, gloves and spray. They charged me and my roommate $15 for that. They must've not done a quality check with me in the room or they intentionally didn't tell me about what I was leaving to charge me at a later time. These guys love to charge you for anything. These apartments are horrible quality as all of their furnished rooms are cheap. The value that you get out of this place is not worth what you spend. You and your roommate spend a combined $1800 to live here. You and your roommate are better off finding another apartment and furnishing it youself for $1200 a month with utilities. And if you live alone there are one bedroom apartments that are cheaper than the studio apartment they offer. Just keep all this in mind and understand that these guys don't really care about you. They love to scam students at the end of the day so you shouldn't really expect much from them."
