Bob’s Discount Furniture and Mattress Store

"This location is a joke. We ordered a rug with goof proof protection. We were given a voucher to replace our rug. When purchasing the rug, the sales person applied the voucher and charged my card(for taxes and delivery) to the wrong customers account. He then “cancelled” the order and placed another order, charging my card again. The order would not go through because the voucher had already been redeemed. I had to go to the store to be told they were working on refunding the voucher and that the charges were refunded. They have no other record of the 2nd charge even though it has now been posted on my account for 2 months. When talking with manager, Dale Zawada, he said that I would have to contact customer care. They were unable to fix this stores mistake so now I am out my time, money, and still do not have a new voucher for my rug. Again, please don’t waste you time at this location. If we ever buy from Bob’s again, we will take the longer drive to the Shorewood location."

"I bought a dresser and chest set from here and the delivery guys broke the first set they brought so I had to have it returned; which barely happened until the repair man saw the massive mistakes they made with the delivery. They then brought me another dresser that has flimsy pieces installed and is not up to par with what you'd expect for what I paid for. The advice I was given by the repair man they sent is to watch the whole installation process as the delivery people will hide faults from you."

"I would like to express how disappointed I am with this company. My husband & I went to your store in Orland Park IL looking for a sectional couch. We found one we liked, the Everest. Our salesperson Dale Z, helped us pick out the pieces we would like, and we told him we wanted the delivery and setup but not the warranty. The internet was down in the store that day so he said he would email us the information when the internet was back up. (Saturday 2/17). He did, the problem was that 2 of the pieces in our cart we could not order online, plus he added the warranty which we said that we did not want. So, today, I went to the store again, spoke with the store manager, he never introduced himself, no apology for the inconvenience, I asked him if we could at least get free delivery he said" Bob's doesn't do that! He also pushed me into a delivery time even though I still wasn't sure if I was going to purchase. Never apologized for the "accidental warranty or that I had to come in" he just said he likes the job because it pays for his golfing??? So, once he told me the total, I said, no I am not interested, and he said fin, I 'll just delete the order and that was it! This was one of the worst customer service experience I've ever had! We will never be back, and we will make sure to tell all our family and friends as well."

"I purchased a bed frame and Bob-O-Pedic mattress from the Orland Park store after a terrible experience with another furniture store. My salesperson Joe was amazing and helped me find exactly what I was looking for, and the cost was less than half of what I would have spent at the other furniture store. Best of all , the furniture was delivered exactly one week after ordering. Very satisfied with my purchases!"
