The Wilmette Theatre

"Great LOCAL "theatre". Get your tix at the concession counter for $10, along with reasonably priced popcorn, candy and canned drinks. The seats have been replaced with sofas and chairs, so it feels both like crashing your exuberant uncle's "cinema room" and a night out on the town in one fell swoop. Wilmette Theatre deserves your support also by donating to update their marquee, which seems like it could be the theme of a film in and of itself."

"Cute and convenient. Love supporting independent and local businesses. That said, their showtimes for movies are erratic and frustrating. Unless you're retired or don't have to work, 2pm on a Tuesday is not really a good time to go to a movie. It's very confusing what is available and when, and I am often disappointed because they have movies I want to see, but show them at very inconvenient times, or only once or twice. They're also closed a lot and don't use the marquee for current attractions. So, it's just hard to plan a movie date here. Otherwise, reasonable prices and nice people working here."
