"We were late getting to the motel. The gentleman had saved our room for us. We were very grateful. We did not arrive until after 9 o'clock. Rooms were very clean. We would stay there again."

"Enjoyed our stay at Prairie Winds Motel! Our room was very clean and the bed quite comfortable. Even the parking lot was litter-free. We had all of the usual amenities and everything worked well. We were surprised at how quiet our neighbors were, hardly ever hearing a sound from them. The manager was such a pleasant gentleman and so concerned that we have everything we needed. The location is good, close to historical sites and local eateries. Will certainly stay there again should we return to the area."

"The owner is very friendly. The motel is very easy to find, right along the main road through Carthage, just outside of town. This isn't a fancy hotel, there's no breakfast, but if all you need is a bed and a bathroom for a good price, this is a good place to go."

"We stayed one night in August and arrived late into the night. We called ahead to let him know we would be arriving late.The gentleman who answered the phone told us arriving late was not a problem. He explained what to do when we arrived. He was very helpful when we arrived and so kind. Even though the motel is older, it fit what we needed. I look for cleanliness when I am looking for a place to stay and this did not disappoint. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The price is great. We would stay here again."
