"We recently were under contract to sell a home and the buyer fell through out of option period. We have waited over a month and a half for the earnest money to be released. We were told to pick up the check today and were greeted by rude and snarky comments. We arrive to find out that we can’t have our earnest money as defined by the contract and state law because the buyer has an unpaid invoice on his name and can’t find any clarification on the matter. Never have I ever dealt with such an unprofessional and unhelpful Title company. My advice: go anywhere else."
