"I'm outraged by the excessive wait times at this hospital. My mother has been waiting over an hour past her scheduled appointment, and we're told there are seven patients ahead of her. This is unacceptable, especially since her previous four-hour wait for a pre-op appointment was due to the doctor being in surgery. Now, she's enduring another lengthy delay for her two-week follow-up after major surgery. It's ridiculous to have a skilled doctor overshadowed by poor hospital management. I'll be advocating for my mother's timely care and exploring alternative healthcare options that prioritize patient satisfaction. Patient Advocate will be contacted!"

"1 Star only because 0 stars is not an option. DO NOT GO HERE! This is the absolute worst office to deal with. To be clear my experience with the Dr. was fine but they are the most unorganized and unprofessional and hardest people to communicate with. You can't talk to anyone. They don't have a phone number to their office so here is how it works. 1) You call the number 2) You are connected to a call center not located at the Dr. office. Typically you will be on hold here for 10-45 minutes. I have been number 45+ in line on multiple occasions. 3) Some one picks up the phone asks you for all the standard stuff... name B-day etc. But this person can't help you. They can't schedule you, or do anything for you. They are just an operator. 4) They send a message (text) to your Dr. office to see if any one there can help you. Typically they can't so they say something like "I sent them the message and they will call you back." 5) The office may or may not get the message and may or may not call you back. I get the call back about 50% of the time. However, when they call back if you are busy, miss the call, don't hear it ring etc. The office will leave you a message and say something like. Calling you back from Dr. _________ office please call us back at XXX-XXX-XXXX. 6) You call them back and start all over again at #1 above. Rinse and repeat over and over and over. You can't speak to anyone at your actually office without going through the call center. The offices do not have their own phone lines so they say. It is absolutely awful! And the worst part is they know its a problem and don't care at all. They just say that is the way it is deal with it if you want to be our patient, when they could just get a phone line like the rest of the world and fix the issue. Read all of the 1 star reviews here and run as fast as you can to another doctor. That is unless you literally have the time to sit on the phone for hours just to schedule an appointment or do other minor things like that. Again I have no problem with the Dr. she was great, but she is not worth the frustration you have to go through to use her office. DO NOT GO HERE!"

"This is the absolute worst possible clinic to go to. Only on my first visit did anything go as scheduled and then that was only up to the point that the visit with the doctor's was over. As soon as it was time for the scheduler to take over nothing has went right since then. At my first visit the doctor ordered lab work and pet-ct scan that I was told I would received a call for an appointment the next day. I finally received an appointment 3 weeks later after calling everyday several times a day. Once I finally received the scan I seen the doctor again who ordered radiation and chemotherapy treatments. The first week I understand my new insurance plan had not been completely extended. So I called and was assured by my insurance company that everything was in order. The second week I was told I needed a new referral. The third week I went and was sent to finance center where the lady told me that I had given them an insurance card that I did not give them. She insisted that I enrolled with that company even though I told her I was enrolled with another company and had never been enrolled with the place she had so I had no idea where it came from. But she still insisted it was my doing and that I had given them the card which I most . definitely did not. After this ordeal I called and spoke with my PCP who assured me the referral had been made but upon going for the fourth visit I am once again told they don't have a referral. After many phones calls bring made to my PCP for the referrals, I received a call from Texas oncology that the referrals had been sent in and everything was approved and could not make another appointment. So this appointment was made for radiation and one was made for chemo teaching on the 24. However today I get a call that the appointment has been cancelled because they don't have the referrals. Then why did you call me and tell me you did and make the appointment to bring with. I am so disappointed in Texas oncology at Research Dr. I can't even give an opinion on the doctor because the staff is so incompetent. From making appointments to cancelling. One office last insisted that she made the appointment for this week while I was standing in front of her in the office. But infact what happened while I was standing in front of her is that I was told we were not going to make another appointment to we got the referrals taken care of so that we did not have this problem again. So am appointment was not made until I received the phone call starting they had received all referrals and everything was in good shape to make the appointment for tomorrow. They don't seem to mind messing with someone's health as they see for. I hope they never have to go through anything such as this and get the room around every single time they go for a visit. That being said I will not return to Texas oncology at Research Dr. It would serve the doctor's there will to for their entire staff and hire me employees that pay attention to their patients and help them to make sure everything is in order rather than leave them hanging for weeks at a time trying to get an appointment made and rather than insist they have enrolled with an insurance company that they didn't. Rather than cancel an appointment every week maybe if they would do their job this wouldn't be an issue. Especially the fact of calling someone to tell them the referrals have been made now the treatments can start so this issue can be dealt with.. If there is not another office for me to go to, I will just change doctor's because if I keep depending on the staff at Research Dr, I will die before I am able to get treatment. All thumbs down, zero stars Texas oncology research Dr stat members."
