"MAKE SURE YOU ASK HOW MUCH ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING IS AT THIS VET!!! or pay extra for services your pet probably doesn’t need or get charged for things that were once “complimentary” during your first visits without them telling you :) Giving two stars because the front desk people are nice and my cat hasn’t had any bad experiences, but GOD do I not trust that this place tells you the truth on what is ACTUALLY needed and what isn’t as a way to take your money, and I am absolutely BAFFLED by the lack of transparency of service costs and arrangements… After my first visit, I set up a neuter appointment, but once i got there I was told that he was in for MULTIPLE things. I was confused and asked the reason for all of this, and told them to only do the neuter. I was then REFUSED to get my cat neutered unless I paid for his vaccine which would’ve been NICE to know about beforehand… especially since I had to reschedule to get him in (which of course is a great way to get money out of people once they are there, as rescheduling is a hassle) but ultimately thought it was fair since vaccines are needed to be in the premise. I get it - but be transparent about things. It’s not that hard. For my third visit (which was supposed to only be a BOOSTER vaccine), I had learned my lesson so I called in advance and once again I was told he was to come in for MULTIPLE things - which I refused to do as they were not necessary and thought I was good to go - but I was wrong. Today, I was in for his third vaccine (and last visit at this place) and was then charged for his nail trimming, which was complimentary for the past two visits. Best part is I didn’t find out until after the nails were cut and I was being billed. Again, would’ve been nice to know BEFOREHAND. Absolutely crazy. Idk if this is a training issue on how to tell your clients which services are needed and their cost, or if this business’ mission is to charge people to their convenience. But regardless I am not giving this place another cent. To conclude - I feel like everytime I visit, I am having to fight on which services are necessary and which aren’t, as well as playing russian roulette on what services I’ll be billed with. It seems to me that this business just wants to take as much money from their clients as possible, which is not only unethical but DEFINITELY not a way to run a sustainable and successful business - to do so, you must gain the trust of your clients and to do that, you MUST be transparent. If you’re rich and don’t care about paying for random stuff or getting surprised when handed your bill, then this is the place for you, otherwise, I’d check going somewhere else. Good luck. Update to response: No, I did not request a trim. I was asked at the front desk if I’d like to trim my cat’s nails, to which I naturally said yes too, given it was free for 2 visits. I was not given a price once I confirmed to the nail trim afterwards by the way. Way to blame the costumer for this incident. A simple refund or other type of reform would’ve been more effective, rather than blaming the customer. Accountability, for example, goes a long way. Once again, this shows the lack of business skills this business has."

"GREAT FIRST VISIT. I was very surprised my dog stopped barking without me in other room. Came back out without a muzzle on and licking technician wagging tail Great work !"

"The folks at the Manor Veterinary Hospital have taken excellent care of our dogs for years. Our latest visit was to begin care for a new kitten we recently adopted. Miss Morgan the Mischevious gave them high praise when she returned to us after her vaccinations and wellness check."

"This is such a wonderful veterinary clinic! I've taken all of my animals here ever since Dr. Carter opened. This visit my cat was in for a senior check up. Dr. Carter was very friendly, as always, and took great care with my cat. She always strives to interact with the cat, talking her, helping her stay calm, even letting her know what's happening (even though I'm the one being informed then!). We identified a small concern, but she didn't try to press me for any expensive tests. It was reasonable to just watch my cat and see if anything changes. I appreciated that. And I can tell you from previous animals, she will never pressure you for unneeded procedures or tests for your pets. She will be honest with you about what a test can do and if it's truly valuable at the current stage. I no longer live near this office, but I'm going to keep making the drive because I know my cat will always get the best care around."
