"He deserves less than 1 Star, this dr is disastrous, some friends recommended him to me to be our primary Dr and in the contact he put the office phone as cell phone and the cell phone as office, according to me I spoke to him at the office on Monday the 2nd January at 4:30 PM and he answered me, I asked if he was speaking to Dr Rugama's office and in a curt tone he answered that this is what I needed, I told him that they recommended us to him to be our Dr and we wanted to make an appointment He immediately told me that because he had his cell phone and that he would block me, I made it clear to him but he didn't listen, he was super upset and that it wasn't the time to call (4:30 PM) I considered it a total lack of respect towards me who better I decided to hang up the phone, then I checked the opinions that there were about him and I understood that his way of being is like that, rude and arrogant with his patients, therefore his staff is also like that, according to the opinions of others, obviously I will look for another Dr because we do not need to go through any more bad times, I hope and God willing that he sees the comments about him and his office and changes, since the profession of Dr is very noble."

"Never, never will I go there or even recommend anybody to that Dr.. Patty the nurse has the worst attitude. No bedside manners whatsoever! I am so disappointed how she treated me and the wait was long. Save yourself the long wait! And don’t put yourself through a horrible experience. They don’t even deserve a 1/2 star to be honest!!!!"

"Horrible office. The left hand never communicates effectively with the right hand. Every visit is well over 4 or 5 hours. The last one was for a refill of my high blood pressure medicine, ( I had been out for 2 weeks and waiting for an appointment ). I called explained I was on a job and had to drive down 50 miles to be there and I would be about 5-8 minutes late, when I got there, they had put someone else in front of me so I waited an extra hour. When it came time for the doctor to see me (4 hours later) someone came in and told me the doctor had to leave. I asked if they could ask the doctor to at least give me a temporary prescription for the same medication I had been taking until we could reschedule, because I was feeling like my blood pressure was to way to high. And they said they would ask him and call it in. Of coarse the next day it was not available at my pharmacy so I called to find out if they had asked the doctor and he refused to issue it or did try forget to ask the doctor. I was put on hold for 20 minutes then told that the doctor was now refusing to see me as a patient because the year before I had to deal with an assortment of idiotic excuses from that office and now I was not welcome there! Which is perfectly fine with me, It’s not a place I wanted to be attended to because in every other medical appointment I have always been treated with respect and someone with a brain, this office is in serious lack of respect, compassion and simple coordination skills. They give the medical profession in the RGV a bad name and It’s no wonder why Dr Rugama is not allowed to practice or visit his patients in most of the local hospitals."
