"From the second we stepped through the doors we were treated special. We had our own private booth, which was perfect! Our server was very attentive and impeccable. Since we were celebrating a birthday, we were poured a complimentary glass of champagne. We ordered a cup of fabulous crab chowder along with their succulent smoked maple glazed shrimp for appetizers. Neither of them disappointed! We ordered a special of the night, a smoked 14 oz. ribeye with a chipotle pan sauce and served with mashed potatoes, asparagus, and butternut squash. Every bite was delectable and delicious! The steaks were cooked perfectly. Our server was very attentive to our every need and did his best to make our evening everything it could be. We were too full to have dessert, but we were still sent home with a complimentary piece of birthday, apple pie and ice cream. It was a magnificent dinner. One of the top birthday dinner celebrations we have had. We will be back."

"We had to wait two weeks to get a reservation but it was definitely worth the wait! This was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. I’ve probably never been somewhere where it was cooked so perfectly (they ask you to cut it and make sure it’s to your liking!) I wish that there were options for sides like other steak places, but this wasn’t a major complaint. I’m just not an asparagus fan. We were celebrating a birthday dinner so we were given a complimentary piece of apple pie. This was one of the most decadent desserts I’ve ever had. Absolutely delicious. We also ordered the crème brûlée, but it just wasn’t as rich-especially compared to the pie. All in all, I would highly recommend this place and our family will definitely be back."

"This is a great steakhouse. We didn't make a reservation, but we were able to find a spot at the bar. The staff was friendly and so were all the regulars we made friends with while waiting with our drinks. The steak was amazing. And although I wasn't paying, the prices were nice for a great steakhouse. Sides included. My steak was delicious. The crabcakes were unique and delicious, as well. The apple pie and cinnamon ice cream were worth every calorie. I will definitely beg going back!"

"I go to Annie Gunn's every year for my birthday. One of the best places to get a steak in St Louis, but also the best hamburger I've ever had anywhere. The desserts are second to none, and I highly recommend the apple pie. The service is always great and the atmosphere is laid back. You can show up in a suit, business casual or jeans and a collared shirt."
