They are active members of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in San Marcos, where Ivan has served on the vestry and as Senior Warden.

He donates his time and money to organizations such as the Hays/Caldwell Women’s Shelter, Hays County Food Bank, and Texas Rio Grande Legal Aid. Rebuttal: I hired Ivan to handle an appeal which required he appear in court. Had I known he was a day away from vacation I definitely would've found an available attorney."
