"I highly recommend Cramp Law Firm. Military divorces are really specialized. There are special forms and filings and a lot of it is time sensitive. Jim Cramp is an expert in this. He took over my case from an attorney who kept making mistakes and costing me extra money. Once he started on it he got it all resolved quickly. I don't live in San Antonio, and he still took my case. Even if you are divorcing in another state Jim Cramp could probably give you excellent advice. Lastly, he was really responsive. I never had to wait long for answers. I always got a same day response."

"If you are the spouse of a military member and trying to get a divorce from the member, I would not hire Mr. Cramp. I hired another lawyer for a separate matter related to the same case, and unfortunately Mr. Cramp did not negotiate to my benefit during my divorce, there is a lot we dont know as military spouses, and unfortunately I was not informed, and fought for by Mr. Cramp. Just an FYI, ask for a second opinion, my lawyer now told me that the military member can pay for the survival benefit plan premium for you, and also get some of the taxes that you pay for, but the military member gets. Mr. Cramp is nice and knowledgeable when it comes to calculating your part of the retirement, but doesn’t fight for you or in my opinion has your best interest, I assume because he is prior service and he sides with the member. I am also prior service, but I don’t even think I discussed that with Mr. Cramp, I didn’t think it mattered. Lesson learned, always get a second opinion, especially with something that can affect your future."

Being active duty and station overseas is already a challenge and having to file for divorce with different time zones made it even more difficult But Jim and his team took great care of me, my case, they were helpful and understanding of my situation. - Jim, being a veteran himself understood the challenges that come with being in the military and also being overseas, they were very patient with me due to the time zone differences. - Jim and his team literally took care of everything!! all I had to do was provide the documents requested, the information that needed to be filled out and wait for them to get the job done. Which was outstanding! I was informed of the plan, execution and the time frame on everything! Literally everything!! - the team sets an account for you online and you can access your documents there. You can upload or download documents from any electronic device. Also message his team or himself at any time with any questions or answers.
