"Dear Drivers considering working for Bay Area Couriers, DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT! I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent experience working for Bay Area Couriers. I was promised a 55% commission on all loads as i have my TWIC card, but when I received my paycheck- which did not did include a breakdown of the company's invoices of what they where paid. I was promised through text messages that would be no less $820, which is still not accurate. I have no invoices of what the compnay was paid to verify. Therefore, I can not verify my pay was/is accurate. I have tried to contact Kari/Millie, the company's representative, but she has been unwilling to provide me with this information. As a result, I am not confident that I am being paid the full amount that I am owed. They have no blocked my number and forwarded my calls. I am also concerned about the company's business practices. I have heard from other drivers that they have been paid late or not at all. I am worried that this company is not taking care of its employees, and I would not recommend anyone else work for them. I am planning to contact legal representation and the Department of Transportation to file a complaint against this company. I urge you to do the same if you have had a similar experience. "Where do I begin? This company helped me and my brother is a desperate time of need. My brother is home from hospital yesterday and my sister in law is in icu with the flu and many other complications. My brother needed his medication and I live in Austin. I called late in the evening tonight and the driver was downtown far away from where my brother lived so she couldn't deliver. I appreciated her kindness and hung up crying. She called me back. So kind. She said a driver just became available. I was so relieved. After going back and forth with details...she was able to get my brothers medicine to him. I am so grateful for these people. God bless you all and I pray this business thrives and prospers. You reap what you sow. And I pray you always stay humble and kind."

"This Company is a scam! They hire people constantly and pay them almost nothing for the runs. For instance from League City to La Porte for $3 Alvin to Houston for $8 but you don't find out till you get your first paycheck. The runs barely pays for your gas. My husband was scammed by this company recently. Read the other reviews and Believe Them! Warning unless you want to work for almost free run away as fast as you can! They take advantage of people that need jobs and they do not tell you how little they pay per run. By the time in almost 3 weeks you get your tiny paycheck you have already gone thru hundreds of gas. Please Believe me and others before it happens to you."

"I live out of town and needed a last minute gift delivered. Kari jumped in and was a huge help. She was able to help me figure out how to coordinate and accommodate my unique situation.
