"This is a phenomenal music school! Our 11 year-old son has been taking piano, music theory and sing lessons with Dr. Li and her staff for several four year he loves it. So do we, as parents. The classes are well organized and adapted to the level and age of the kids. Dr. Li constantly has team challenges, competitions, reward programs, etc. which encourage and engage kids. All teachers are professional musicians with extensive studies in their own fields and teaching and performance experience. I have seen how creative and patient they are in searching for the right approach for each kid. The pianos used in the school are top-notch Steinway and Boston pianos. Having kids play them is a privilege and exposes them to professional level instruments that they can aspire to. The premises themselves are also wonderful....brand new installations with individual music classrooms, group classroom, an outdoor area and benches for parents to wait around. Dr. Li and her staff are passionate about music and it shows in their teaching. I would strongly recommend this school to anyone looking at learning or enhancing their musical skills."

"My son plays a clarinet and started having lessons at PMI since February 2022. He had had only 2 month of clarinet experience at the moment with a different teacher but had picked up so many bad habits before he met Dr. Kim at PMI, and Dr. Kim has been working so hard to correct his bad habits and didn't mind explaining him how to do things better and correctly until he gets an idea. With all the hard work and effort he could successfully perform at the Carnegie Hall this Summer. He's now working with Ms. Ting and she is also a great clarinet teacher - very detail oriented and she knows exactly what to do to help students improve their weaknesses. My son really enjoys learning at PMI, and highly recommend PMI! All the teachers are amazing!"

My wife and I have been dealing with Dr. Stacy Li for years and she really knows about music at a very high concert symphony level yet she has a great gift of teaching our daughter in a manner that is clear, effective and fun. The new teaching facilities in West Plano are really beautiful and well equipped and clean so the atmosphere is great and everyone is always joyful and positive.
